MattressQuiz.co (“we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our Site and how we use it.

Information you provide

When you take the mattress quiz, you enter sleep preferences, body-weight range, pain points, budget, location, and similar answers. These answers are sent to our servers to generate recommendations.

We do not require an account or email to view quiz results. If you choose to save results by email on the results screen, that address may be stored locally in your browser until a full email service is connected—we do not currently send results to a mailing provider unless we explicitly state otherwise on the results page.

How we use quiz data

We use your quiz answers to:

• Filter and score mattresses from our catalog
• Optionally send anonymized answer summaries to a service provider to rank finalists and personalize result copy
• Improve the quiz and recommendation quality over time

We do not sell your personal quiz profile to third parties.

Automated processing

When enabled, we may send your quiz answers and finalist product data to a configured third-party provider solely to rank recommendations and generate explanatory text. That provider processes data under its own terms and privacy policy. If automated ranking is disabled, recommendations use rule-based scoring only on our servers.

Affiliate and retailer links

Clicking “Check price” or similar links goes through our first-party redirect URLs (for example /go/mattress-name) so we can count clicks before sending you to a retailer. We log the mattress clicked, approximate country (from our CDN), referrer or campaign tags (UTMs when present), a session identifier, and browser type. We do not use this to identify you personally. Those retailer sites have their own privacy practices. We may receive affiliate attribution when you purchase through our links, as described in our Affiliate Disclosure.

Automatically collected information

Like most websites, we may receive basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited through our hosting provider (Cloudflare) and any analytics tools we enable. We use this to operate and secure the Site.

Cookies and local storage

We may use browser local storage for a quiz session id and a first-visit attribution cookie so we understand how visitors found the site. Essential cookies from our host may be required for security and delivery of the Site.

Children

The Site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Your choices

You can stop using the Site at any time. To ask about data we hold or request deletion of information you submitted via email, contact us using the details on our Contact page.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest revision.
